Laboratory of Pharmacology

bioinformatics-head

Bioinformatics is a current advanced biological technology being used to obtain interdisciplinary information by integration of diverse fields and has enabled the rapid and costeffective production of massive big data in biology.  To understand the most important molecular pathogenesis in the disease and develop a key gene for therapeutic approaches, we initiate the bioinformatics research by integrating and analyzing a thousand gene expression to unravel the genetic/epigenetic mechanisms and networks underlying biological phenotypes paving the way of genomic medicineera

Recently, networking analysis in pharmacology and toxicology has been developed rapidly with the use of multiomics and highthroughput screening. To gain insight into the molecular mechanisms of drugs and toxicants, network pharmacology and toxicology can help to reveal the structural networking of chemical actions and biological possibilities for exploring the mechanisms of toxicants, drugs, and candidate compounds, which will be confirmed by in vitro experimental studies.  In our laboratory, network pharmacology is used to explore the effects of various components via the modulation of multiple proteins of Thai herbal medicines for a multi-target drugs approach in order to understand their therapeutic potential and significant adverse health effects.
