These awards are offered to individuals with outstanding achievements in research and innovation in the fields of biotechnology, food, agriculture, industry, and public health in Thailand with potential for practical application. On November 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bang Ban district meeting hall, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, by Royal Command of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), Mr. Bancha Techasakul, Vice President for Special Activities at the CRI, presented 1,000 sets of the Royally-Granted essential supplies, such as jasmine rice, canned food, instant noodles, towels, common household medicines, and face masks, to Mr. Pairat Petchyuan, Vice Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, accompanied by the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district chief, the Bang Ban district chief, and representatives of the flood victims, for onward distribution to the flood victims in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, with 500 sets each, to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district and to Bang Ban district. The primary goal was to uplift the spirits and alleviate the immediate suffering of those affected by the floods at the initial stage. The event was organized by Udon Thani Provincial Office, in collaboration with Udon Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, Udon Thani Provincial Livestock Office, the Association for Thai Buffalo Conservation and Development under the Royal Patronage, Udon Thani Rajabhat University, and a network of buffalo farmers in Udon Thani province, at the Khok Nong Ko public area, Thung Yai subdistrict, Thung Fon district, Udon Thani Province. On October 27, 2023 at 10.30 a.m., Mr. Bancha Techasakul, Vice President for Special Activities, Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), in his capacity as Chairman of the Committee for the Operation of the Chulabhorn 36 Marine Park Project, along with members of the Working Group, attended a meeting with Vice Admiral Suchart Thampitakvej, Commander, Third Naval Area Command (3rd NAC), Vice Chairman of the Committee for the Operation of the Chulabhorn 36 Marine Park Project, and a delegation. The objective was to jointly devise the 2024 action plan for the Chulabhorn 36 Marine Park Project, the management guidelines for the Chulabhorn Marine Park Conservation Center, and an action plan for the survey, repair, and laying out of buoys for boats to prevent indiscriminate anchor casting and conserve coral reefs in the Andaman Sea. On Saturday, June 17, 2023, by Royal Command of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), Mr. Chalit Manityakul, Vice President for International Relations of the CRI, presided over the opening ceremony of the Project on Integrated Training for Knowledge Dissemination and Technology Transfer on the Management of Rabies to Communities, under the strategy of the operation of HRH Princess Chulabhorn’s project on “Disease-free Animals, Safe Humans from Rabies”. The event was held at Loft Mania Boutique Hotel, Tha Tapao Subdistrict, Mueang Chumphon District, Chumphon Province. The activities of the Training Project consisted of academic lectures and a workshop on using applications to prevent rabies in schools and communities, with over 160 participants attended, including livestock officials, public health officials from local administrative organizations, health education teachers, village health volunteers, and community representatives. Chumphon Province is selected as a target area for HRH Princess Chulabhorn’s project on “Disease-free Animals, Safe Humans from Rabies”.
