Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol Performs Religious Ceremony in Dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on Nawamindra Maharaj Day

On October 13, 2023 at 08.53 a.m., at the Chakkapan Pensiri Building, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol performed a religious ceremony in dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on Nawamindra Maharaj Day, commemorating the seventh anniversary of His Majesty’s passing. The event was attended by executives, lecturers, students, and personnel from Kasetsart University, representatives from various agencies, as well as executives of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, all in attendance to pay respect to Her Royal Highness and participating in this important ceremony.










(His Majesty is Our Moral Strength), sung in the traditional melodic rhyme, and accompanied by Thai musical instruments performed by students from the Faculty of Humanities, “Pray Who Is He”, and His Majesty’s composition “Kwam Fan An Sung Sut” (The Impossible Dream), performed by the KU Wind Symphony Band.
The government has declared October 13 every year as “Nawamindra Maharaj Day” to mark the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. The “Nawamindra Maharaj Day” or “the Commemorative Day of King Rama IX the Great” is a tribute to His Majesty who, during His long reign of over seven decades, adhered fully to the Ten Kingly Virtues and the Righteousness upheld by the Chakri Dynasty. His Majesty unwaveringly contributed to Royal Initiatives and over 4,000 Royal Initiative Projects, enhancing the quality of life for the Thai people, and laying the foundation of the nation’s secure and sustainable development.
