Translational Research Center

Translational research programs at Chulabhorn Research Institute have been established to promote translation of knowledge from basic research findings

topractical applications especially in the area of biomedical field that is crucial for improvement of health and well-being of human life. Translational research programs are being conducted in several laboratories of Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) with collaborations from both national and international institutions. There are two main units in the Translational Research Center (TRC). First, Translational Research Unit conducts research programs that apply the basic knowledge aiming to develop both therapeutics and nutraceutical products. Second, Food and Drug Quality Unit aims to establish testing laboratories that comply to international standard to support the quality control of drug development process.
